You are right that the product strategy should be aligned with the business strategy, as well as the product porfolkio strategy if the product is part of a (related) group of products--think, for example, of Microsoft Office. I've omitted both strategies to keep the model focused and easy to understand. You are also right that a product strategy has to fit the capabilities of an organisation--it must be feasible. I recommend testing feasibility / fit as part of the product strategy validation work, which I discuss, again, in Strategize.
